TPR extrusion raw material product details

1. TPE-S series (based on SEBS)

Features: high transparency, yellowing resistance

Application: food contact grade straws, transparent air tubes

Typical grades: TPS-45A (FDA certified), TPS-70A (medical grade)

2. TPE-V series (dynamic vulcanization type)

Oil resistance: volume change after immersion in ASTM No.3 oil <15%

Application: automotive fuel pipe, industrial oil seal

3. TPU series

Abrasion resistance: Taber abrasion <30mg/1000 revolutions

Application: mining conveyor belts, ski edge sheaths

Extrusion supports the following common processes

Equipment adaptability

Single screw extruder: L/D≥25:1, compression ratio 2.5-3.0

Twin screw extruder: It is recommended to use a co-rotating model

Temperature setting (example TPE-65A):

Feeding section: 160-170℃

Compression section: 180-190℃

Metering section: 190-200℃

Die temperature: 195-205℃


Common problem solutions: (1) Surface roughness: Increase die temperature by 5-10℃

(2) Dimensional instability: Check cooling water temperature (recommended 15-25℃)

(3) Die sticking problem: Add 0.1-0.3% internal lubricant
