Flame Retardant TPE

In material classification, Zhongsu Flame Retardant TPE refers to the general name of thermoplastic elastomer, and its full English name is Thermoplastic Elastomer. In actual application, high quality Flame Retardant TPE refers to TPE-S, which is a polystyrene thermoplastic elastomer, which is a thermoplastic elastomer material obtained by composite modification of SEBS or SBS elastomer as the base material. TPE-S elastomers are also called TPE or TPR in the industry.

The EC series of TPE injection-bonded PC produced by our company can be coated and injected and bonded to the surface of PC, ABS or PC/ABS products through molding processes such as secondary injection molding or two-color injection, so that the products have good feel and anti-slip properties. This bio-based flame retardant grade material can reach the flame retardant level of UL94 standard, 3.0mm thick, and V0 level. And some of its ingredients are derived from renewable resources, which can effectively reduce carbon emissions and is the key direction of future material development.
